Celebrated illustrator and classical music presenter James Mayhew returns to Turner Sims, captivating audiences of all ages with master story-telling and a ballet of brushstrokes, all perfectly timed with the music.
Prepare to be entranced by stories, breathtaking art, and the sound of a live orchestra playing these two beloved classical masterpieces. James not only narrates, but paints too – with his glorious artwork beamed onto a giant screen above the musicians for everyone to see. An immersive musical experience for all!
Arrive up to an hour before each performance for an animal-inspired face-painting workshop in the foyer.
James Mayhew will be signing copies of his books, including Gaspard the Fox after the performance.
